If you’re connected to VPN Proxy Master but still can’t watch BBC iPlayer, here are some steps you can take to resolve the issue:
1. Check the Server Location
BBC iPlayer is only available in the UK, so you’ll need to be connected to a UK-based server in order to access it.
Tip: Make sure you're connected to a UK server. Servers in other countries won’t work for BBC iPlayer.
2. Clear Your Browser Cache and Cookies
Sometimes, BBC iPlayer can still detect your real location through cached data in your browser or app. Clearing your browser's cache and cookies can help:
- Chrome: Go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Clear Browsing Data.
- Firefox: Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data > Clear Data.
- Edge: Go to Settings > Privacy, Search, and Services > Clear Browsing Data.
If you’re using the BBC iPlayer app, try logging out and logging back in after clearing the app's cache.
3. Try Incognito/Private Mode
Accessing BBC iPlayer in Incognito or Private Browsing Mode can help avoid any cookies or cached data that may be causing issues.
4. Switch VPN Servers
If the UK server you’re connected to is blocked or congested, try switching to a different UK-based server in VPN Proxy Master. Some servers may be flagged by BBC iPlayer, so selecting a different server can help.
Tip: Use a server that’s optimized for streaming BBC iPlayer.
5. Disable WebRTC
WebRTC may leak your real IP address, even when you're connected to a VPN. To disable WebRTC:
- In Chrome: Go to chrome://flags and disable WebRTC.
- In Firefox: Type about:config, search for media.peerconnection.enabled, and set it to false.
- In Edge: Go to edge://flags and disable WebRTC.
6. Try a Different VPN Protocol
If you're still having trouble, try switching to a different VPN protocol. Some protocols may be better at bypassing BBC iPlayer’s restrictions. Go to VPN Proxy Master Settings > Protocol > Select WireGuard or IKEv2.
7. Disconnect and Reconnect
If none of the above works, try disconnecting from the VPN and then reconnecting to a different UK server. Sometimes, a new connection can resolve the issue.
8. Restart Your Device
After making the changes, restart your device to ensure everything is working correctly and that your VPN connection is fully established.
9. Contact VPN Proxy Master Support
If you still can’t access BBC iPlayer after trying these steps, it's possible that the server you're using is being blocked. Contact VPN Proxy Master support for instant help.
