If your IP address is still being detected after connecting to VPN Proxy Master, it could be due to a few different reasons. Here’s what you can do to resolve the issue:
1. Check Your VPN Connection
- Disconnect and Reconnect: Sometimes, simply disconnecting and reconnecting to the VPN can resolve the issue. Try selecting a different server or location and reconnecting.
- Choose a Different Server: If you're connected to a server that’s overcrowded or known to be flagged by websites, try switching to another server in a different location.
2. Clear Your Browser’s Cache and Cookies
Sometimes, cached data in your browser can leak your real IP address even when you’re connected to a VPN.
Clear Cache and Cookies:
- Chrome: Go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Clear Browsing Data.
- Firefox: Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data > Clear Data.
- Edge: Go to Settings > Privacy, Search, and Services > Clear Browsing Data.
3. Use a Private or Incognito Browser Window
Open an Incognito or Private Browsing window to avoid any cookies or session data from leaking your real IP address.
4. Disable WebRTC
WebRTC (Web Real-Time Communication) can sometimes leak your real IP even when you're using a VPN. To prevent this:
- In Chrome: Go to chrome://flags and search for “WebRTC”. Disable it.
- In Firefox: Type about:config in the address bar, search for media.peerconnection.enabled, and set it to false.
- In Edge: Go to edge://flags and disable WebRTC.
5. Enable the VPN Kill Switch
VPN Proxy Master has a Kill Switch feature that disconnects your internet if the VPN drops. Enabling this can ensure that your real IP is never exposed.
Check the app settings and make sure Kill Switch is turned on.
6. Check for DNS or IP Leaks
Go to DNS Leak Test or IP Leak Test to check if your real IP is being exposed.
If you detect a leak, try switching to a different VPN server or protocol.
7. Switch VPN Protocol
Some VPN protocols might be more vulnerable to detection or leaks. Try switching to a more secure protocol (like WireGuard or IKEv2) within the VPN app settings.
8. Restart Your Device
A device restart can sometimes help reset any lingering issues and ensure your VPN connection is established correctly.
9. Contact Support
If you’ve tried everything above and your real IP is still being detected, reach out to VPN Proxy Master’s support team for assistance. Provide details like the server you're connected to and any error messages you're seeing so they can better assist you.
